T/Sgt. Russell 'Clippy' Crawford

Originally from Pennsylvania, Crawford was nicknamed 'Clippy'.  After his tour of duty in the South Pacific, he enlisted for a second tour, flying with the 20th Air Force in the China-Burma-India (CBI) theater. Retired from the military in 1960 to the San Francisco area. He passed away April 6, 1987.. Wartime photo from son Jim Crawford.
